2. No FDA Evaluation; No Medical Claims
Statements made on our website, in product descriptions, in marketing communications, in COAs, or elsewhere in the Services have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or by any other regulatory authority. No statement made by Glacier Aminos describes, recommends, or implies any medical or therapeutic use of Material. Nothing in the Services constitutes medical, scientific, regulatory, legal, or professional advice.
Material is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition. Any information about the chemical properties or biological activity of a compound is provided strictly for educational and scientific reference and must not be relied upon as a representation that the compound is safe, effective, or appropriate for any particular purpose.
3. Not a Compounding Pharmacy or Outsourcing Facility
Glacier Aminos is a research-chemical supplier. Glacier Aminos is not a compounding pharmacy and not an outsourcing facility as those terms are defined under Sections 503A and 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, respectively. - Maintaining and following written safety protocols, incident-response plans, and emergency contact procedures.
- Determining whether Material is suitable for your intended research and verifying its identity, purity, and integrity prior to use.
- Conducting any required stability testing, recalibration, or independent verification appropriate for your research application.
- Compliance with the safety, environmental, and waste-disposal standards of your facility, institution, or jurisdiction.
Glacier Aminos provides Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and any available safety-data sheets as a reference resource only. These documents do not relieve you of the obligation to handle Material in accordance with the standards applicable to your specific research environment.
6. Compliance with Laws & Regulations
You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing the purchase, possession, handling, storage, transportation, transfer, export, and disposal of research chemicals in your jurisdiction. Without limitation, you agree to comply with:
- All applicable federal laws of the United States, including the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, the Controlled Substances Act (and its regulations administered by the Drug Enforcement Administration), and the Toxic Substances Control Act.
- All applicable state and local laws and regulations regarding laboratory chemical possession and use.

Glacier Aminos makes no representation that Material is appropriate or lawful for use in any particular jurisdiction. If you are unsure, consult qualified legal counsel before placing an order.
7. Per-Batch Verification; Per-Compound Specifications
Every batch of Material is independently tested before it is offered for sale, and the signed Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each batch is published in our COA library and linked directly from the QR code on every vial label. Glacier Aminos represents that each batch meets or exceeds the published purity specification appropriate for the compound. Different compounds carry different purity specifications reflecting their chemical nature; you are responsible for verifying that the published specification is appropriate for your intended research application.
Material is supplied “as is” based on its independent test results. We make no representation or warranty as to its suitability for any specific research application, downstream procedure, or instrument compatibility beyond the data published on the COA.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:
- Administer Material to a human or animal under any circumstances.
- Incorporate Material into any food, beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetic, personal-care product, drug, medical device, or any other product intended for sale or distribution to consumers.
- Resell, repackage, relabel, decant, redistribute, donate, or transfer Material to any third party without our prior written approval.
- Use, transport, or possess Material in violation of any law or regulation in any jurisdiction.
- Make any claim, on any platform, suggesting that Glacier Aminos has endorsed, recommended, or approved a particular use of Material for human or veterinary purposes.
Any use of Material in violation of this Disclaimer is at your sole risk and constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
9. No Reliance on Third-Party Information
Information published online, in scientific literature, or by other third parties regarding any compound is the responsibility of the source that publishes it. 11. Relationship to Terms & Conditions
This Disclaimer is incorporated into and supplements our Terms & Conditions, which govern your broader relationship with Glacier Aminos. In the event of any conflict between this Disclaimer and the Terms & Conditions, the provision that most strongly protects Glacier Aminos and that most clearly emphasizes the research-use-only nature of Material will control.
12. Severability & No Waiver
If any provision of this Disclaimer is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. No failure or delay by Glacier Aminos to enforce any provision of this Disclaimer operates as a waiver of that provision or of any other provision.
